I graduated in December 2025 from the University of Maryland, with a BS in Mathematics. During school I found an anthropologist on the faculty who was looking for an undergraduate research assistant who could help with some big data projects. I volunteered in his lab, and wrote several python scripts to automate a lot of the data scraping and analysis. I also designed and built the lab website.
After high school, I joined the USAF as a cable and antenna technician, basically a cable guy combined with a lineman. After a few years doing this in Denver, I decided to go to college, so I switched to the West Virginia Air National Guard and became a flight medic. During my upper-level courses at UMD, commuting once a month to West Virginia was a bit difficult, especially during exams. So, I switched to the Air Force Reserves and joined a unit at Andrews AFB in Maryland, hitting all three components of the USAF.
In my personal life, I enjoy working on my boat, snowboarding (and recently splitboarding), volunteering on the ski patrol at my local mountain, playing old video games, and learning to design video games.
